Isla Tortuga Snorkeling Tour with Zuma Tours. This island is located on the Nicoya Peninsula Gulf Costa Rica, and it´s a One Day & All-Inclusive activity, from Montezuma, Cabuya, Mal Pais, Santa Teresa, or Tambor.

If our morning tour is booked, remember we also operate an afternoon boat tour to Tortuga Island ending with the sunset and showing you the Bioluminescence phenomenon.
We will start the day by taking you on a 45-minute boat ride along the coast with breathtaking views of the Pacific Ocean on the right and the beautiful landscape of the Nicoya Peninsula on the left. During the boat ride, most of the time, you will be able to see cheerful dolphins, jumping manta rays, primitive turtles, or if you are lucky you can even enjoy watching humpback & pilot whales.
Once we get to the paradisiacal Tortuga Island we will anchor our boat next to the best points for snorkeling. The volcanic rock reef is surrounded by crystalline waters and home of Angelfish, Porcupinefish, Morays, Needlefish, Spotted Eagle Rays, and many more tropical beauties that will make it for you an extraordinary snorkel experience.
After the amazing snorkeling experience, our captain will take you to the wonderful white sand beach of Tortuga Island where drinks and fruits will be waiting for while the lunch is ready. For lunch, our cook serves fresh BBQ fish (tuna fillet now) or chicken, sauteed vegetables with delicious grilled potatoes.
After lunch, the afternoon will be yours to enjoy. You can go for a hike, a swim, rent a kayak, a banana boat, take a little “siesta”, or just chill at the beach. And then as the day comes to an end, we will get back on the boat for a beautiful ride back to Montezuma town.
Scuba Diving: as soon we arrive on the Island the diving club boat will come to pick you up, for the one immersion we advise this due the tour time. The visibility average is between 2 and 7 meters. What have on these waters is nice volcanic rock formations, a big school of fish, rays, morays, white tip sharks. We provide all the scuba equipment, and of course a Dive Master or an Instructor as a guide, we just need to know your wetsuit size.
If you are not certificated you can join us on our diving tour, doing a discovery, which is the beginning of diving, as soon we get to the island you will take another boat for that. Starting with exercises on calm water on the beach no deeper than 2 meters, to get used to the equipment, and after a professional dive no deeper than 7 meters, always with a Dive Master or the instructor.

**Este tour da inicio a las 9:00 am saliendo de Playa Montezuma, el tiempo aproximado para llegar a la isla es de 45 minutos, en este trayecto podrás observar el hermoso paisaje de la península de Nicoya,algunas veces se ven tortugas, delfines, rayas y ballenas jorobadas.
Llegando a la isla, realizamos las sesiones de snorkeling con nuestros guías y el bote anclado, cerca de dos isletes de formacion rocosa, rodeado de una maravillosa vida marina, como peces angel, puercoespín, morenas, peces agujas, estrellas de mar, rayas y muchas bellezas mas, el equipo está incluido.
El almuerzo es a las 12:00 / 12:30 que por su puesto está incluido, tenemos 3 opciones para este, nuestro chef sirve pescado fresco a la plancha, o filet de pollo, vegetales salteados con deliciosas papas a la parrilla o un almuerzo vegetariano.
Después de esto tendrás 2 horas libres para disfrutar de la isla, finalmente el regreso es a las 3:00 pm hacia Montezuma y posteriormente al hotel si fue recogido.
This is a full-day all-inclusive activity from 9:00 to 16:00, departing from Montezuma Beach.
We have a daily shuttle pick-up at the hotels in Mal Pais and Santa Teresa, starting at 7:45 am. We can pick you up mostly at any place on a steep hill in a 4x4 car, 15 minutes before the regular time, but a GPS address is required, please only pass it to us the day before.
We also can pick up customers in Tambor bay by boat or by shuttle at 8:00/15 am if needed.
-At 9:10 we try to be aboard.
-From 10 until about 12 we do the snorkeling sessions from our boat, or the scuba diving immersion, this with another boat from the diving club.
-Around 12:30 lunch will be served at our ranch in Tortuga Island.
-From 13:00 pm till 15:00 you have free time, to chill out!
-15:00 we start our way back to Montezuma town with sunset ahead.
**Este tour es una actividad todo incluido, desde las 9:00 am hasta 4:00 pm, saliendo desde Playa Montezuma. Podemos recogerte en cualquier hotel con localidad en Santa Teresa y Mal País, partiendo a las 8:00 am, si el hotel tiene difícil acceso contamos con carro 4x4, en estos casos pasaremos a las 7:45 am. También podemos recogerte en la bahía de Tambor con el bote, o en carro, en ambos casos sería a las 8:15 am.

It takes around 45 minutes to drive to Montezuma.
8:00 From Tambor beach, it is about a 25-minute boat ride to Montezuma, to meet up with the whole group.
16:00 Back in Montezuma Beach.
